Jacqueline Gosselin is a graduate from the National Circus School and holds a B.A. in drama teaching from Université du Québec à Montréal. She upgraded her training through various workshops with Philippe Gaulier (London) and Volcano Theatre company (Swansea). She is a founding member of DynamO Theatre and was a performer, acrobat and writer in all of the company’s productions until 1990.
She now heads the company’s ongoing training program offered on a yearly basis to some thirty performers. She was assistant director to Robert Dion in Echoes of the River in 1996 and co-directed Lili in 2000. She also directed Ghosts and ladders since 2004 and since 2004, has scripted and directed Misstart, a production for stage clowns, Thrice upon a time… and The big bad wolf. In addition, she directed workshops at the National Theatre School of Canada and Cirque du Soleil and has been teaching clowning the Cégep Lionel-Groulx college since 2004.
A graduate of Université du Québec à Montréal bachelor of arts program, an actor, a scriptwriter and a director, Yves Simard performed in many productions with companies such as Carbone 14, Les Deux Mondes and Dulcinée et cie. He also worked as a dramaturg for the Cirque du Soleil Wintuk production in New York City.
For 15 years, he has been working as a director (Les dinosaures ne savent pas lire), cowriter and puppeteer with the Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur company.
As DynamO Théâtre's coartistic director, he has performed in The Challenge, Echoes of the River, Misstart, a production for stage clowns, Ghosts and ladders and in The big bad wolf. In 2011, he wrote and directed I on the sky.
