The big bad wolf

The big bad wolf is definitely a fascinating character! Under the direction of playwright and director Jacqueline Gosselin, three dimwits make an oral presentation on the symbolic significance of this well-known character in children’s classical story tales.

But how do you proceed when you have lost the script and only vaguely remember who should do what? In addition, throughout these ups and downs that inevitably lead to scheming confrontations, what do you do when the big bad wolf really takes shape?

How do you overcome a paralyzing fear that boggles your mind and overtaxes your heart? And most of all, how do you manage, at the peak of discomfort, to stop, take a step back even and then risk a little step forward?

By developing an acting approach that draws on clowning, dancing, singing and shadow playing, the team of designers and the performers try to cast a light on the weaknesses, vulnerability and humiliations, big or small, of human nature through the audience’s laughter.
